WHO WE ARE

CIIE.CO is the brand name used by the IIM Ahmedabad Advancement Trust – which is an umbrella holding body for below-mentioned entities and aimed at fostering innovation driven entrepreneurship in the country. IIM Ahmedabad is the sole beneficiary of the IIM Ahmedabad Advancement Trust. The Trustee of the IIM Ahmedabad Advancement Trust is IDBI Trusteeship Services Limited – which is supported by an Advisory Board comprising of distinguished IIMA alumni.

CIIE.CO and the underlying entities have its roots at IIM Ahmedabad and its Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship - an academic centre focused on research in innovation and entrepreneurship. CIIE.CO also engages closely with IIM Ahmedabad on providing research and training opportunities to students and faculty.

The three operating entities under the IIM Ahmedabad Advancement Trust and part of the CIIE.CO include:

CIIE Initiatives, a company registered under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, India is recognized as the Technology Business Incubator – and operates national initiatives including accelerators, seed-funds, and research, among others. (referred to as “CIIE Initiatives” on the website)
CIIE Regional Innovation Foundation is a company registered under section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem at the grassroots through regional incubation and entrepreneurship. (referred to as “CIIE Regional” on the website)
CIIE Advisors Private Limited is an asset management company, and manages/advises venture capital funds like Bharat Innovation Fund and Bharat Inclusion Seed Fund. (referred to as “CIIE Advisors” on the website)

This website provides a consolidated view of all activities carried out within the CIIE.CO. This website uses terminology that may be interpreted to suggest that all entities in CIIE.CO are actually a single entity. However, there is no such single entity as CIIE or CIIE.CO and all of the entities have their own separate legal existence – even though they may be using the common CIIE.CO brand.

Further, although certain individuals are identified on this website as “Partners” or “Co-founders” these titles reflect business usage to reflect their contribution and association that is customary within our industry and are not intended to indicate that any such individual is actually a partner or shareholder in any partnership as those terms are used for legal purposes. The Leadership Team of CIIE.CO refers to group of senior individuals from across CIIE.CO, who act as the group office and create uniform and coherent strategy, policies, processes and vision-alignment etc. across the group.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

The Co Circle Membership offered by CIIE.CO is non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-transferable. Hence, the refund policy is not applicable.

SHIPPING/DELIVERY POLICY

CIIE.CO is providing the Co Circle Membership (as described on the website) for the Incubation Centre located at CIIE Building, IIM Ahmedabad New Campus, Vastrapur, Ahmedabad-380015. This is the Services and not exchanging of any goods. Therefore, the Shipping & Delivery Policy is not applicable.
